"The mission with LAVA was simple, go for a high heat, but still have that fruity balanced flavour coming through which is crucial in all my sauces. I used my whole harvest of Carolina Reapers (currently the world's hottest variety) in this batch, but also, as superhot varieties' type of heat tends to build up on you slowly, I included Apache chillies which to me have more of an instant kick. Even thought his sauce is pretty prettttttty hot, I still wanted it to have that beautiful fruity flavour, so to compliment the fruit of the chilli pods I also added cranberries, apricot & mango. [Full ingredients are listed on the lablel].
Eat it however you like, my preference is to pour a load over some boneless chicken thighs let it marinate for a few hours then cook slowly on a BBQ (indirect heat) to keep it nice and moist, then finish off directly over the coals to give it the lovely char. It’s also awesome to drop a little in a bloody mary for that extra fire! #cookingwithjohnb
I’d love your feedback, so please let me know what you think via facebook, twitter, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Also - for fun, (and to help us with promotion) - everyone that sends a video of them trying the sauce for the first time & sharing their thoughts (including your friends if you’re generous enough to share!) will get a discount coupon for 15% off any future Jungle Fire Hot Sauce purchases! Just use your phone or whatever and film your crew trying the sauce, then email it to us, or upload the video to youtube, facebook or wherever, tag us in, and drop us an email so we know where to look to check it out!
Oh and finally, if you find the dropper insert of the bottle is restricting the flow too much for your liking, it can be removed easily by pushing it off carefully with a knife/spoon. I tend to make my sauces chunkier than traditional hot sauces so it might have a hard time squeezing out! In future I will probably just use regular tops. Thanks - and enjoy!!"
Love from John B
Our sauce is acidic enough to be considered 'shelf stable'. Best before 6 months. Once open keep refrigerated and use within 2 months.
UK & Europe shipping is fine.
Outside of the EU you order at your own risk at this stage, until we have found out if customs will let them through OK! Although our research suggests that US/Canada customs should be fine, we can't guarantee they they wouldn't confiscate it, so if you're prepared to take that risk then go ahead, but due to the very limited quantities we make and high demand we can't offer refunds if your order doesn't make it - sorry!
In order to make the shipping process faster and simpler we also ask that if you would like to order aything else from the webstore please do it as a separate transaction (with the exception of any merch, T-shirts etc) as the bottles are already packed up in individual boxes, and shipping them with say, one 12" vinyl would end up with a bendy record once it reaches you! :-)
